A Nor Cal Thanksgiving

We took our first road trip with both kids and went to San Jose for Thanksgiving. The drive went pretty well.  There were of course more stops, and the occasional screaming fits, but we all survived.  We spent a lot of time with family and enjoyed our Thanksgiving with those we love.

Jos is a pro at road trips.  I brought a cookie sheet from her play kitchen and it was the perfect surface to color on.

Jack was happy when we stopped and freed him from his car seat.

We went over Uncle B's house the day before Thanksgiving to have a late lunch with the uncles and grandpa.

Santa made a surprise visit! I think Ga let him know that we wouldn't be there on Christmas Eve Eve to see him ;)

Jack started signing "more" while we were there.  Of course my food lover signed "more" first!

Jos took a walk with Uncle D and Ga to Starbucks and the park.

Before we knew it, it was time to pack up the car again and hit the road.

Jack had a rough ride home because he caught a cold while we were in SJ and we later found out he had an ear infection too.  But he did spend some time sleeping...

and Jos did too.
