Our Growing Girl

She is talking so much now!  I try to write down her funniest lines because I want to remember them.  She is constantly making John and I laugh with the random things that come out of her mouth.

- moved to a toddler bed (12/15). The transition was very smooth! Naps are a bit of a challenge because she gets up but she sleeps great at night. She really loves her big girl bed.
- has to do everything by herself, put her shoes on (even if they are on the wrong feet), unwrap her snacks, put the straw in her milk.
 - loves to wrap things. Will grab paper and wrap up the things in her kitchen and then color on the paper once it’s wrapped. It’s all daddy’s fault. He started this game.
- had a seizure because of a high fever (12/23) and after a trip to the ER, we found out she has RSV. Need to keep her fevers under 102 to make sure she doesn’t have a seizure again.
- understood the concept of Santa and the reindeer this year. Was excited to put food on the driveway for the reindeer and leave cookies for Santa. Of course the presents are still her favorite part about Christmas.
- 1st snow! (12/29) Loved sledding and making snowballs. Didn’t like when the snow got on her face. - “I love you bunches and bunches” (1/1)
- went to Disney on Ice (1/4), loved it! Stayed in her seat the whole time and pretended to cry and said “more!” when it was over.
 - told John “slow down daddy!” when he was eating too fast (1/6)
- favorite words/saying: instead of saying “I want ___” she says the thing she wants followed by want like “crusher want”, “sorry mommy (or daddy)” and “thanks mommy (or daddy)”, “what’s this?”, “hmmm?” “what?” “huh?”, “what you doing?”, “what you making mommy?”, “what’s that noise?”...see a pattern, this girl is full of questions!
 - favorite foods: bread bread and more bread, yogurt raisins, chips, bagel and cream cheese, dried apples/strawberries/bananas
- favorite book: her new personalized Dora and Princess books (they include her name and the names of her friends in the story) and the Disney on Ice program (there is hardly any writing in it but she can’t get enough of it)
- favorite TV show/movie: Curious George, Pingu, Cinderella
- favorite song: “Tinkerbell Tinkerbell all the way hey hey hey!” by Joslyn, sometimes says "jingle bells" too

We finally got daddy to come to Disneyland with us! Jos took him on the train first :)

She loved the Disneyland holiday parade!

She went down the big slide at Pump it Up all by herself!

Abby is such a good dog to put up with Jos ;)

She loves the box her gifts came in.
