Summerfest

John's company had an end of the summer party at the OC Fairgrounds.  I kind of dragged John to it because it sounded like so much fun for us and Joslyn, with rides, games and the best part unhealthy fair food!  Who doesn't love a fair?!  And I think it's amazing that his company does something like this for their employees considering the company I used to work for doesn't even have a holiday party anymore.  We had a great time as a family and Jos became a big fan of ring toss, the huge slide and the merry go round!

Jos got very competitive with the ring toss. She kept asking to do it again, and won two pink elephants :)

 She spotted the slide and asked daddy to take her on it.  She was giddy with anticipation.

 Smiled the whole way down and asked to go on it again and again!

 She went 3 times with John and twice with me!

 You can't go to a fair without getting a churro!

We asked her all night if she wanted to go on the horsies and she said "no".  She went on a merry go round in April and screamed almost the whole time and has refused to go on another one, which makes no sense to me because this girl usually has no fear! We were getting ready to leave so I asked her one more time if she wanted to go on the horsies with daddy and she finally said yes.  She asked to go on it two more times after that!
