Joslyn at 11 months

- cries sometimes when I leave for work but gets over it fast.
- love when she smiles so big that I see her teeth
- the long sleeves of her 6-9 month clothes are too short but the pants on 9-12 months look so big. She has my long arms.
- was standing holding onto the rocking chair in her room and cruised over to her bookshelf. She's getting brave!
- sounds like she says "yeah" when I ask her questions
- always wants to get down when we hold her. She wants to be on the move.
- made a mess but really liked scrambled eggs and cheese (5/21) and Belgian waffle (5/22)
- think she's going through a growth spurt. Eating more at daycare and waking up at night to eat or waking up really early, around 6am. Only lasted for a week but still waking up early.
- increased her solids from 2 cubes of food mixed with yogurt or rice cereal to 3 cubes of food, 3 times a day
- loves riding in the cart when we go shopping. She smiles the entire time and loves looking around at everything.
- sometimes she doesn't want me to rock her to sleep so I lay her down and she goes to sleep on her own
- carries things in her hand when she crawls, a toy, pacifier, burp cloth, my shoe
- has discovered she can take apart her floor tiles. It's like a big puzzle to her but she never puts it back together. Mom gets to do that.
- top front tooth popped through
- pants like a dog, think she's trying to copy Abby
- loves going out to eat and sitting in a high chair
- used her walker for the first time and loved it! She got mad when she got to the end of the hallway.
- loves shredded cheese as a finger food
- very clingy with me lately
- will sometimes put her toys back in her toy box. Also grabbed my iPhone and put it in her toy box.
- wearing 9-12 months
- wouldn't let me brush her teeth with a washcloth and water so I tried tooth tissues. She LOVES them! Gets mad when I stop.
- says "uh oh", cutest thing ever! Still saying "ahbay", "dah" for dog, "da da" and "ma ma"
- signed "eat" while watching Baby Signing Time but hasn't done it again. Does sign "more" and "all done", well her own version of them but it's close enough and I know what she means.
- takes 2 naps a day
- wearing size 3 shoes
- getting better at putting the shapes through the correct holes of her sorting bucket
- loves standing at the sliding glass door
- went to the zoo for the 1st time (6/4)
- loves patty cake and peek a boo
- cruises along everything
- grabs onto my legs when she wants to me pick her up
- sleeps through the night most of the time
- loves opening and closing doors
- doesn't like it when you take away the remote control or anything else she wants and lets you know it with a scream. She's very vocal when she's not happy about something.
- throws her entire body backwards with arms up in the air when she wants you to put her down
- discovered the toilet paper roll in the bathroom and likes unraveling it and grabbing pieces. Time to keep the bathroom door closed.
- does not sit still
- cannot get enough yogurt melts and puffs.  Gives me a HUGE smile when she sees the package.
