Joslyn at 15 months

- got her a tea set and she loves it! We showed her how to pour tea and pretend to drink out of the cup complete with drinking noises once and she started doing it. I love that she's using her imagination already!
- Dr. apt- 23lbs (50%), 31 inches tall (50%). Had combo shot (DTap, HIB and Polio) and PCV, no reaction.
- playing chase is her favorite new game. She wears me out!
- she holds her toy phone or my iPhone up to her ear and says "hi"
- pulled the laundry basket over to the hutch, turned it upside down and climbed up top to look into the window on the hutch.
- tries to climb up on the couch but can't reach yet. Also tried to climb up the back of the couch. We've got a monkey on our hands!
- has discovered she can jump on her mattress in the crib. Jumps and starts laughing.
- finger painted for the first time (9/18), loved it! Painted mostly herself but got some on the paper.
- getting really good at feeding herself. She gets most of the food in her mouth now.
- said "bubble"
- signing "more" regularly and using it correctly. Signs "eat" once in awhile followed by a "nom nom" sound.
- loves to climb into my lap. She'll come running at me if I'm sitting on the floor and jump in my lap.
- when I ask for a kiss goodbye, she leans her head towards me and says "mwah".
- stacks her wood blocks 3 or 4 high! We were impressed.
- loves when I hang her upside down and then flip her over my shoulder. She gets in position and I ask her "again?" and she nods her head and says "yeah". She would do it all day if I had the energy to keep up!
- was playing with her car and making a "vroom vroom" noise
- got 3 molars in 2 weeks and was not happy about it. Wakes up often at night but not very fussy during the day.
- likes to wrestle with Daddy
- 1st trip to an art museum (10/2). Went to the California Design (installed with the help of Uncle Darin!) and Tim Burton exhibits.
- grabs onto Abby's back and gives her a "hug" and lays her head on her. She loves her Abby!
- loves dancing to music
- answers "yeah" to everything. I guess we should be glad she hasn't learned "no" yet.
- repeated the letter "a" while she was playing with the Elmo ABC's app with Daddy.
- I think I clean too much in front of her. Will take a paper towel/rag/piece of clothing and wipe of the coffee table or floor. Loves to put things away.
- gives high fives!
- when we say "do you want to go bye bye?", she walks to the door and waves bye bye.
- loves taking her clothes out of the drawer and carries them down the hall
- has curly hair in the back and straight hair in the front
- wearing 18 months
- wearing size 4 shoes
