- holds out her cup and says "cheeers" until we touch our cup to hers
- loves Jamba Juice, squeezable fruit pouches and crackers
- Grandma Z taught her to say "hawt". She says it when she sees us with a coffee mug or when she's putting something in her oven.
- says "miiiine" all the time
- finally started saying uncle while in San Jose. Doesn't say it much to her uncles but will see a picture of them and point and say "uncle".
- started called Grandma Z "ga ga" and says "gan ma" to Grandma Sue and does her version of the sign
- getting better at signing please and says "eese", still working on consistently signing or saying thank you
- decided great grandma was a mouth full so she's now called her Gigi
- loves wiping her mouth with a napkin and will grab a rag or paper towel and wipe of the coffee table
- grabs her vacuum when I vacuum
- loves when we flip her upside down or help her do a somersault
- says "ow" all the time, even when she's not hurt. I suspect she does this to make us stop whatever we're doing that she doesn't want us doing.
- holds her pointer finger up for "one" but also holds out her thumb
- takes off her pajamas and diaper, even the snap ones, and then says "uh oh"
- likes to put DVDs in computer DVD player
- went down the slide all by herself for the first time
- holds up her hands and does the "I don't know" gesture
- puts her diaper in the hamper when it's bath time
- helps Daddy feed Abby, gets her bowl and the canned food
- loves throwing things in the trash
- could watch Baby Signing Time over and over again says. Signs and says "baby" when she wants us to play it
- has to have my camera when she sees me with it. Says "cheese" until I let her take a picture
- says "nigh nigh" and has us lay down in the reading corner in her playroom and covers us with a blanket. Loves to do this with Daddy.
- always hides behind the rocking chair in her room and covers her head with the blanket. She thinks we can't see her and laughs when I say "oh no, I lost my baby!".
- doing new signs all the time. She'll see it once on the DVD and start doing it. John and I don't even know what she's signing sometimes because she has learned them faster than us! Signs outside, bubble, car, friend, stop, airplane, potty...and more that I haven't learned yet!
- dances to the "Baby Steps" song from Yo Gabba Gabba, does tiny baby steps and then big steps
- lets me know she wants me to sing patty cake by doing the roll it part with her arms
- loves putting my hair in front of my face and then
- sometimes puts her foot up on the table when she eats. We need to teach her table manners.
- taking more and more, seems to have a new word every day. We just need to interpret what she means.
- knows what she wants and will let you know if she doesn't want something with a strong "NOO", even when it comes to clothes or shoes I get out for her to wear.
- turns on her sound machine and turns out the light when it's time to go to bed or take a nap
- wearing size 5 shoes, moving into size 6
- wearing 18-24 months and some 2T
